Kiln Space

"Kiln space for rent" in essence means that we fire your pieces (green or glazed) for a fee. You bring us your pieces, we load the kiln and let you know when they are ready for pick up. Our kiln is a non-automatic Cress kiln. We bisque at cone 04 and glaze fire at cone 06. For the second firing, we set most pieces on stilts unless they are plates or flat pieces.  We price kiln space by weight. The weight and price for the item is determined after the last firing.

Supplies and tools

We have molds, rollers, stamps and many hand tools available for use to our participants in the studio.  We offer beginners' tool kits at cost for those who want to try pottery at home. 

Clay is available by the pound or by the bag. 

Glazes are free to use when taking a class or a workshop with us. If you are working from home and utilizing our kiln space for rent, you will have to provide your own glazes.
