Kiln space 

"Kiln space for rent" in essence means that we fire your pieces (green or glazed) for a fee. You bring us your pieces, we load the kiln and let you know when they are ready for pick up. We have 2 electric kilns on site. We bisque at cone 04 and glaze fire at cone 5 (mid-fire).  We price kiln space by weight. The weight and price for the item is determined after each firing. This service is also offered through kilnshare.com

We fire cone 6 clay only in the studio. We will ask proof (receipt, picture) that your clay is rated for cone 6 firings. Low fire clay will damage the kiln and won't be accepted.

Vessels and and sculptures need to be soundly constructed in order to be safely fired. Pottery pieces that are too heavy or too thick might not be able to be fired.
